What Makes This Keto Buffalo Chicken Dip So Fantastic
- Low Carb . Only 4 carbs per serving.
- Quick. Made in less than 30 minutes (it only takes me 15).
- Easy. Mis the ingredients together and bake.
- Gluten Free . A great appetizer or dip for anyone with a gluten allergy.
- A Crowd Favorite. Who doesn’t love Buffalo Chicken Dip? Make it for any movie night, to watch the big game, or to smear on a low carb tortilla or flatout wrap .
This Keto Buffalo Chicken Dip has all the various components of buffalo wings–except in one neat, non-messy but equally delicious package. So really, it’s #ruthlessefficiency at it’s best!
I don’t know if you’ve noticed this about me yet, but I tend to like my food spicy. I have a tendency to add a little extra spice to most everything I eat.
In my opinion, there are few things as satisfying at the end of a long day as something hot and spicy.
But that’s just it. Who really wants to cook something after a long, tiring day? That’s exactly why I love this Keto Buffalo Chicken Dip .
How Spicy Is It?
This dish has just the right amount of heat while still being a very simple and quick dish to make. You get that tangy spice of the wing sauce, the savory, protein-rich bite of the chicken and the delightful crisp of the chopped green onions in every bite, and it’s oh-so-satisfying!
Of course, the fact that it’s homemade means that YOU get to choose how spicy it is.
All of the heat in this dish comes from the buffalo sauce so either choose a less spicy version or add more of it.
But that’s not the only reason I’m a huge fan of this Buffalo Chicken Casserole . Not only is it delicious, but it’s keto-friendly . You won’t find any cream of anything soup in this casserole.
Here’s the thing though. All it is, is delicious. So if you eat low carb ? Enjoy. If the rest of the family doesn’t? Serve it with some chips.
Do you know what else I love about this Low Carb Casserole? It’s a great way to use up a rotisserie chicken , or any cooked chicken you may have.
Few things make me happy as a delicious meal that’s low carb and guilt-free.
Is Buffalo Sauce Ok On Keto?
Most buffalo sauces or hot sauces are vinegar-based and more focused on being spicy than sweet like other condiments. So, a majority of them are great for keto dishes.
However, not all buffalo sauces are created equal. Not all of them are ok to have while you’re living a low carb lifestyle. Make sure you read the ingredients lists and the nutrition facts before you grab a bottle to add to this Keto Buffalo Chicken Dip .
Here are a few brands that are low carb friendly:
- Tabasco
- Frank’s Red Hot
- Primal Kitchen Hot Sauce
- Truff (this has a slightly different flavor profile than traditional hot sauces, but would make a nice addition to this dip)
What Do You Put In Keto Buffalo Chicken Dip?
- 4 cups Shredded Rotisserie Chicken - Provides the hearty, protein-packed base of the dip. Rotisserie chicken adds convenience, tenderness, and built-in savory flavor.
- ½ cup Chopped Onion - Adds mild sweetness, aroma, and a little texture that balances the creamy elements.
- ¼ cup Cream - Creates a smooth, rich consistency and helps the cheeses melt into a cohesive, scoopable dip.
- ¼ cup Hot Wing Sauce - Delivers the signature buffalo flavor. It’s tangy, spicy, and bold. It ties the entire dip together.
- ¼ cup Crumbled Blue Cheese - Adds classic buffalo-style tang and sharpness. It deepens the flavor and complements the wing sauce perfectly.
- 2 ounces Cream Cheese - The key to creaminess. Cream cheese melts into a thick, velvety base that keeps the dip rich and keto-friendly.
- Pepper - Provides a simple layer of seasoning and boosts the overall flavor without adding carbs.
- ¼ cup Chopped Green Scallions - Finishes the dip with freshness, color, and a mild onion bite that brightens the richness.
Don’t like blue cheese? That’s totally fine. Just switch it out with a little mozzarella, some low carb ranch dressing or omit it completely. It may change the macros just a tad, but it will still be delicious.

How Long Does It Last?
Honestly, never long at all! If I have a gathering or make it for a dinner of more than 4 people, I never have leftovers!
If you are cooking for a smaller crowd, expect this amazing spicy buffalo casserole to last for 3-4 days before the dairy and meat begin to separate and create for a less than delicious bite.
Can You Freeze It?
To freeze it, let the dip cool completely, then transfer it to an airtight container or freezer-safe bag, pressing out as much air as possible. It will keep for about 2–3 months without losing much quality.
When you’re ready to enjoy it again, thaw it overnight in the refrigerator and reheat gently on the stovetop, in the microwave, or in the oven.

This Keto Prosciutto Wrapped Brie is one of the easiest dishes I’ve ever made, but it’s bursting with flavor! Who knew that only 3 ingredients could taste so good? This Baked Brie recipe is irresistible!

What Makes This A Must-Make Appetizer
If you’ve never had Prosciutto Wrapped Brie before, let me introduce you to what could be the best holiday appetizer (maybe even the best appetizer) you’ve ever tasted. The savory and salty prosciutto pairs perfectly with the creamy, butteriness of the brie. Add in some sugar-free preserves and you’ve got a sweet, salty, and delightfully low carb appetizer that’s sure to wow both you and your guests.
I decided to use sugar-free preserves to make this a low carb appetizer. As for which sugar-free preserves to use, that is entirely up to you. You can serve this with either fig preserves or raspberry preserves but you can use whatever you’d prefer.
What Is Prosciutto?
Prosciutto is a traditional Italian dry-cured ham that’s known for its silky texture and delicately salty, savory flavor.
Made from the hind leg of a pig, the meat is rubbed with salt and slowly aged, often for many months, to concentrate its flavor and create that melt-in-your-mouth tenderness.
It’s typically sliced paper-thin and served uncooked as prosciutto crudo, often paired with cheese, fruit, or wrapped around appetizers like brie.
Ingredients You’ll Need
- 1 Small Double Brie Cheese Wheel - The creamy, rich centerpiece of the dish, becoming melty and luxurious once heated.
- 4 ounces Prosciutto - Wraps the brie in a savory, salty crust that crisps up beautifully in the oven.
- 2 tablespoons Sugar-Free Preserves - Adds a touch of sweetness and fruity contrast that complements both the brie’s creaminess and the prosciutto’s salty bite.
How To Make Prosciutto Wrapped Brie
- Lay four slices of prosciutto in a 5-inch pie pan.
- Put two slices going the other way.
- Cut the brie in half, spread 1 tablespoon of sugar-free preserves on the first half, then put the other half back on and spread preserves on top.
- Cover the brie with the six slices of prosciutto.
- Bake at 400F for 20 minutes, then broil for 2 to 3 minutes.
Tips And Tricks
Creating prosciutto-wrapped brie that’s beautifully crisp on the outside and irresistibly gooey inside is all about smart preparation and timing. Try these tips for perfect results every time:
- Do not try this with bacon. You will have either raw bacon or overcooked brie. The two have very different cooking times, and I tried and failed twice before I decided to use prosciutto.
- Use well-chilled brie . Cold cheese holds its shape better while wrapping and baking.
- Overlap the prosciutto slices . Layer them tightly so the brie stays fully enclosed and the cheese doesn’t escape.
- Fold neatly like a present . Keep the wrap snug and smooth to ensure even browning.
Variations
Prosciutto-wrapped brie is wonderfully versatile, making it easy to tailor flavors to any occasion. From elegant appetizers to cozy snacks. Try one of these delicious variations:
- Fig & Walnut - Add a layer of fig jam and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts before wrapping for a sweet crunch.
- Pesto Swirl - Spread a little basil pesto under the prosciutto for herbal brightness.
- Berry Bliss - Use raspberry or cranberry sauce for a tangy, festive twist.
- Maple & Pecans - Drizzle maple syrup and add toasted pecans for warm, nutty sweetness.

Sugar free Jam
- Instead of using store-bought sugar-free preserves, you could make my Sugar-Free Jam instead! This is a great sugar-free jam recipe that you can use for any fruits you chose, including a great keto blackberry jam.
- If you’re looking for a low carb cracker to enjoy this Prosciutto Wrapped Brie with, check out my Low Carb Crackers with Seeds . They make a fantastic cracker substitute for dips and spreads, and they taste great on their own as well.
- This recipe also tastes great with my Keto Bread recipe . I promise you, it does NOT taste eggy like a lot of the other keto bread recipes out there.
- Top with this Cranberry Chutney for an exciting twist.
How Long Does It Last?
Prosciutto-wrapped brie lasts 2–3 days in the refrigerator when stored tightly wrapped or in an airtight container to keep the prosciutto from drying out.
It’s best enjoyed the same day while the cheese is soft and melty, but leftovers can be gently reheated in the oven to revive the texture.
Can You Freeze It?
Freezing isn’t recommended, as both brie and prosciutto can lose their creamy and delicate qualities after thawing.

Prosciutto Wrapped Brie | Baked Brie Recipe
Equipment
- 5-Inch Pie Pan
- Measuring Spoons
Ingredients
- ▢ 1 Double Brie Cheese Wheel , small
- ▢ 4 ounces Prosciutto , thinly sliced
- ▢ 2 tablespoons Sugar-Free Preserves
Instructions
Lay four slices of prosciutto in a 5-inch pie pan.
Put two slices going the other way.
Cut the brie in half, spread 1 tablespoon of sugar-free preserves on the first half, then put the other half back on and spread preserves on top.
Cover the brie with the six slices of bacon.
Bake at 400F for 20 minutes, then broil for 2 to 3 minutes.
I used fig or raspberry preserves when I made this dish, but you can use whatever preserve you prefer.
If you don’t mind the extra carbs, you can use either my Cranberry Chutney or Peach Chutney in place of the preserves.
You can enjoy this Prosciutto Wrapped Brie with some low carb crackers, some bread, or even just dig straight in with a fork or spoon.
Do not try this with bacon, else you will have either raw bacon, or overcooked brie. The two have very differnet cooking times, and I tried and failed twice, before I decided to use proscuitto.
To make this in an air fryer, set the air fryer to 350F and monitor it carefully. Once you see the proscuitto crisping up, the cheese is probably melted. You will need to put it into a small pan to hold the cheese in place.
